Michael Levin, born in 1984 in Philadelphia to Mark and Harriet Levin, grew up in a close Jewish family with strong values of service and commitment. From a young age, he showed a deep sense of purpose and a drive to help others. His bond with Israel, rooted in his family’s values, grew stronger over time and led him to make the defining choice of his life.

In 2002, Michael left his comfortable home in America to immigrate to Israel and serve in the IDF. Despite the challenges of a new land and language, he felt a strong duty to protect the Jewish people a conviction his concerned but supportive parents deeply respected.

Michael joined the elite Paratroopers Brigade as a Lone Soldier, overcoming language and cultural challenges to earn the respect of his unit, which became his family. Known for his courage, he found purpose and a true home in Israel.
